Energy Management Corporation has an opening for a Field Service Coordinator in our corporate headquarters. We are a 43-year-old and growing industrial automation company headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah that sells and services electrical motors, drives and generators. The Generator Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, performing preventive maintenance, and performing start-ups on generator equipment including automatic transfer switches in our customer’s facilities. Salary Range: $24 to $40 per hour DOE Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Service, repair, modify, diagnosis and rebuild standby power generators. • Perform preventive maintenance on natural gas and/or diesel generators. • Preform failure analysis, emergency field service for customers. • Perform start-ups on new equipment. • Process required paperwork in a timely manner. • Responsible for communicating repairs needed to both the customer and service manager. • Operate, drive and maintain company service truck and parts inventory on truck. • Furnish current required tools. • Willing to participate in the rotating responsibility of afterhours on-call-technician. Minimum Qualifications: • Must possess a valid driver license • Willing to travel sometimes overnight or over a weekend • Basic understanding of company provided computer, tablet, cell phone • Good organizational skills • Able to work well unsupervised • Attention to detail • Excellent customer relation skills • Self-motivated • Good mechanical/electrical aptitude • Able to comprehend and trouble shoot from wiring schematics • Knowledge on the basic workings of both diesel and gas engines • Willingness to train in the company programs to enhance his or her generator knowledge • Trade school education in stand by power systems and/ or relative experience. • Experience working with power generator equipment for a minimum of one year Preferred Qualifications • EGSA and/or CDL certified • Strong welding experience Applicants must be able to fulfill the physical duties of the job, which include being able to stand or walk for long periods of time, occasionally sit, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel, use wrists and hands for using tools, and looking down at the product being built. Energy Management Corporation has an opening for a Field Service Coordinator in our corporate headquarters. We are a 43-year-old and growing industrial automation company headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah that sells and services electrical motors, drives and generators.

Basic expectations are as follows-

· Work closely with generator service, field engineering and the motor shop managers to schedule calls with customers with appropriate technicians.

· Work with inside sales to follow up quotes and completing outstanding jobs as parts are obtained.

· Work with managers to insure completion of SO's through the PMR and billing process. This includes working with vendors on any additional requirements for warranty or start up.

· Coordinate with technicians and managers on after hour calls and schedules. Ultimately dispatch is controlling and directing after hours emergency calls.

· Coordinate with accounting on customers "On Credit Hold" to avoid incurring additional charges until accounts brought current.

· Other duties as assigned

We are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to provide partnership and management support to the Regional Branch Manager. This role is involved in crossing many areas of EMC including administration, sales, and operations and has the opportunity to provide significant and meaningful impact within the region to help build success with the branch team.

This position will evolve into an Account Manager (Sales) Role for the right candidate. We are looking for a candidate who will take the time to gain knowledge on our products and then leverage their knowledge to help increase the value we provide our customers. Additionally, the goal of the Account Manager is to increase revenue and grow our customer base.

Starting Salary Range: $50,000 to $58,000 Annually. We expect the salary will increase upon becoming an account manager.

The Operations Support Associate for the regional branch is responsible for providing hands on operational and strategic support to the Regional Branch Manager and direct team.

There are three major obsessions of the Operations Support Associate role:

  1. Partnership in execution of branch objectives

Your Role and Impact:  As a Regional Sales Manager for Power Quality Components (PQC) a subsidiary of EMC, you will be a pivotal force in driving our market reach in the sales territories in the assigned region, ensuring that our solutions in power quality resonate with the needs of our served industries, vertical markets, and the various classes of customers serving those markets. Your goal will be to enhance our footprint in the power quality market through strategic sales initiatives, key OEM and User account development and management, leadership of the manufacturer’s rep teams and their territories, and strategic channel leadership and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales and market initiatives across the region, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the power quality sector.  This will be achieved by working with our manufacturer’s rep partners and key direct OEM and User accounts.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities with existing and new customers in served and new markets, assist the company with strategic planning, assist the company with competitive analysis, and identify new product and service opportunities in Power Quality.
  • Participate in annual strategic planning activities to discuss business direction, needs, growth plans, and action plans to achieve growth and market penetration goals.
  • Conduct/support annual planning with manufacturer’s rep partners for identifying target markets, target accounts, KPIs, and developing sales goals. 
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of sales plans with manufacturer’s rep partners to ensure that growth, market, and target account goals are being achieved, KPIs are being met, and Action Plans are on track.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, providing expert advice and solutions for power quality solutions that focus on both technical and commercial value differentiators.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to develop solutions that address identified market needs and applications, where PQC can differentiate from the competition with values that meet the unique requirements of both vertical markets and customers in those markets.
  • Deliver presentations and training sessions to clients and stakeholders on PQC products and services.
  • Work with PQC Sales, manufacturer’s rep and channel partners to oversee the bid proposal process for strategic projects, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are addressed.
  • Lead all commercial operational aspects of the region including customer specific pricing agreements, contract development and negotiations, rep partner development and management, and channel development and management.
  • Oversee general business operations in the assigned region, as required.
  • Engage with industry experts and participate in trade shows and conferences to promote PQC’s power quality solutions, focusing on value differentiation applied to industry applications.
  • Provide feedback from the field to support continuous product and service improvement.

Qualifications:

Your Role and Impact:  As a Regional Sales Manager for Power Quality Components (PQC) a subsidiary of EMC, you will be a pivotal force in driving our market reach in the sales territories in the assigned region, ensuring that our solutions in power quality resonate with the needs of our served industries, vertical markets, and the various classes of customers serving those markets. Your goal will be to enhance our footprint in the power quality market through strategic sales initiatives, key OEM and User account development and management, leadership of the manufacturer’s rep teams and their territories, and strategic channel leadership and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales and market initiatives across the region, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the power quality sector.  This will be achieved by working with our manufacturer’s rep partners and key direct OEM and User accounts.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities with existing and new customers in served and new markets, assist the company with strategic planning, assist the company with competitive analysis, and identify new product and service opportunities in Power Quality.
  • Participate in annual strategic planning activities to discuss business direction, needs, growth plans, and action plans to achieve growth and market penetration goals.
  • Conduct/support annual planning with manufacturer’s rep partners for identifying target markets, target accounts, KPIs, and developing sales goals. 
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of sales plans with manufacturer’s rep partners to ensure that growth, market, and target account goals are being achieved, KPIs are being met, and Action Plans are on track.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, providing expert advice and solutions for power quality solutions that focus on both technical and commercial value differentiators.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to develop solutions that address identified market needs and applications, where PQC can differentiate from the competition with values that meet the unique requirements of both vertical markets and customers in those markets.
  • Deliver presentations and training sessions to clients and stakeholders on PQC products and services.
  • Work with PQC Sales, manufacturer’s rep and channel partners to oversee the bid proposal process for strategic projects, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are addressed.
  • Lead all commercial operational aspects of the region including customer specific pricing agreements, contract development and negotiations, rep partner development and management, and channel development and management.
  • Oversee general business operations in the assigned region, as required.
  • Engage with industry experts and participate in trade shows and conferences to promote PQC’s power quality solutions, focusing on value differentiation applied to industry applications.
  • Provide feedback from the field to support continuous product and service improvement.
  • Implement EMC’s core values through leadership and by fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous growth, both internally and externally.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales, specifically in the power quality, VFDs and/or electric motors, or related industrial electrical markets.
  • Technical understanding of VFDs, electric motors, power systems, and power quality solutions.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Alignment with EMC’s core values: teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to continual improvement.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Essential Duties: Repairs special and standard AC and DC electro-mechanical equipment. 

Summary: Is sufficient in repairing numerous AC and DC electro-mechanical equipment and is able to work with a variety of testing tools.

Responsibilities: The following list contains key responsibilities; additional work may be assigned by your manager.

  • Follows relevant work instructions and customer standards.
  • Operates specialized repair and testing equipment.
  • Carries out dynamic balance of rotor and armature assemblies as well as replaces/repairs mechanical parts (e.g. brushes, gears, seals, etc.).
  • Regularly diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Proficient in level 1+ vibration analysis.
  • Procures special parts per material request form.
  • Oversees that all completed work in their designated area meets EMC quality requirements.
